Hi Kids,
There's a lot of dancing in Union Square in the next few days, thanks to the Jewels in the Square program:
Wednesday 10.3: Lindy (thats swing dancing to you uneducated folks)
6:30pm lesson
7.00pm William Beatty Corner Pocket Band
Sunday 10.7: Argentine Tango
2:00pm performances, quick lesson
3:00pm open dancing
I'll definitely be there, because this ends when the cooler weather begins!
Hi Kids,
Most of you know I volunteer at the Cartoon Art Museum. There's an interesting event this Thursday, I'll be there working the registration table. Come on by!

This Sunday (8.5): Argentine Tango in Union Square
I love this tradition. Every first Sunday of the month, BATango (Bay Area Argentine Tango Association) hosts free afternoons in Union Square. There's usually performaces and maybe a class from 2pm-3pm, then they open up the stage for dancing. It's free! I'll definitely be there, give me a ring on my mobile if you want to meet up.

We're going with the Sommers to Stern Grove this Sunday! Love the idea of spreading out on a mat with a picnic, enjoying wine, and listening to music with friends.
Details: Os Mutantes and Los Amigos Invisibles are playing at Stern Grove this Sunday, July 15. Check out link to hear their music.
So as I mentioned before, AIGA and the Apple Store have joined force and presented a series of lecture called "Pro Sessions: Design Remixed." Each month, on a Wednesday night, at the Apple Store, a designer will share their thoughts and insights "how design has evolved and how creativity has diversified
beyond any single discipline."
So this coming Wednesday, July 18, at 6:00 p.m. in the Apple Store at downtown San Francisco, Christian Haas, from Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, will be giving his lecture.
Christian Haas is an award-winning Group Creative Director with over fifteen years of multidisciplinary advertising experience. In February 2006, he joined Goodby, Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco and has since worked for clients like Adobe and Netflix.
